Tool Working On New Album

Tool started work on a new album over the Thanksgiving holiday with producer Joe Barresi (Chevelle, Queens of the Stone Age). The album will be recorded on analog tape and will be the band’s first since 2006′s ‘10,000 Days‘.

Actually, Tool just specified that their newspost was not for Tool but for Danny Carey’s Volto. They’re not recording anything yet.
In fact, after a quick travel around the net, I love how every other news source apparently has no idea what Volto is since they leave that part of Tool’s post out of their articles to make it sound like the whole thing’s about Tool. Brilliant.
