Hurt have streamed their latest single “How We End Up Alone”, check it out below. The track is taken from their upcoming album ‘The Crux‘ which is due on March 27th.

Definitely these guys have something special. Even if they make a catchy, simple song like this one, they make it a lot distinctive of the waste that lots of “post-grunge” bands produce nowadays.
With Hurt, you always feel you’re listening to something really deep and complex, well-written, and I love it. They’re not my favourite band but without any doubt I consider them the best band of the modern-american rock scene or whatever it’s called.
Needless to say, a lot better than the crappy new Shinedown song.
Agreed. When they first had Rapture from Vol 1 hit radio, I was blown away. Pretty unique band that can still “fit in” with other modern rock bands. They haven’t put a bad album out yet, so I’ve got high hopes for this next one. Shinedown keeps getting worse after their first album imo.

I am looking forward to this album. They have always been very original, catchy, and dark.
I dig it, makes me excited for the new album.
