Seether should stop releasing this kind of stuff and give the fans some of their good old unreleased tracks from the Disclaimer/Karma days.
The second Tonight remix is probably and Country Song are the best songs of this EP by far, the rest is… I won’t say “rubbish” because it would be to harsh but I don’t think it’s worth a single penny.
I like electronic music, and I think it could have been so much better. At least is not worse than Bush’s Deconstructed haha.
I don’t think this was the band’s idea. I remember seeing something they posted on Facebook around the time the remix contest was going on about this being the label’s decision.
Yes, probably it’s a decision from the label but I still think it’s not a good movement for the band. I mean, there are lots of fans complaining about how much they strayed far from their original sound and Shaun himself expressed his will about releasing some old stuff back in 2009… and nothing happened. It’s well known that you have to take with a grain of salt everything Shaun says, but come on, the old fans are expecting something more than this.
Anyway, as I said the second Tonight remix is really enjoyable. However, the No Resolution one made me cringe…
