Taproot have entered the studio to begin work on the follow-up to 2010′s ‘Plead the Fifth‘ with producer Tim Patalan. A spring release is expected.

The reissue of the Smashing Pumpkins’ ‘Siamese Dream‘ has debuted at No. 110 selling 8,300 copies. ‘Gish‘ debuted at No. 146 with 6,200 copies sold.
Nickelback slipped to No. 5 with 78,000 copies of ‘Here and Now‘ sold.
Daughtry’s ‘Break the Spell‘ is down to No. 14 selling 39,000 copies sold.
James Durbin’s debut album ‘Memories of a Beautiful Diaster‘ is No. 87 this week with 11,000 copies sold.

Digital track sales are down 6% from last week and 2% from the same week last year. Year to date sales are up 9% at 1.04 billion tracks downloaded.
Downplay Release “Hated You From Hello”
A new Downplay track titled “Hated You From Hello” has been released to iTunes. The track will be used during the WWE’s Slammy Awards on Monday, December 12th.
