Rock On The Range 2013 Line-up Revealed

Lineup for the 2013 Rock on the Range festival have been confirmed. The three day event will feature performances from Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Smashing Pumpkins, Korn, Bush, Stone Sour, Three Days Grace, Papa Roach, Cheap Trick, Bullet For My Valentine, Volbeat, Lamb Of God, Skillet, A Day To Remember, Buckcherry, Halestorm, Hollywood Undead, All That Remains, Device (with David Draiman), Steel Panther, Sevendust, Sick Puppies, Asking Alexandria, Pop Evil, In Flames, Clutch, In This Moment, Black Veil Brides, The Sword, Ghost, Motionless In White, Red, Deuce, Middle Class Rut, Big Wreck, Oleander, Otherwise, Red Line Chemistry, Young Guns, Thousand Foot Krutch, Mindset Evolution, Tracer, Beware Of Darkness, Heaven’s Basement, American Fangs, Love And Death and Gemini Syndrome.

Rock on the Range takes place on May 17th, 18th and 19th at Crew Stadium in Columbus, OH. Pre-sale tickets are available now on RockontheRange.com. General public tickets go on sale February 1st.

Slipknot Announces Knotfest Details

Slipknot will bring their Knotfest to Council Bluffs, IA on August 17th and Somerset, WI/Minneapolis, MN on August 18th. The festival features performances from Deftones, Lamb of God, Dethlok, Serj Tankian, Cannibal Corpse, The Dillinger Escape Plan, The Urge, Prog, Gojira and more.

Tickets go on sale June 8th at knotfest.com and Ticketmaster locations.

Lamb of God guitarist Mark Morton and DevilDriver front-man Dez Farara have teamed to form Born of the Storm. Free downloads of “Nowhere Fast” and “Dust” are now available.

Metallica’s ‘Beyond Magnetic’ Moves Up To No. 29

Metallica’sBeyond Magnetic‘ EP sits at No. 29 on this weeks Billboard Top 200 Chart with 14,000 copies sold. The EP was released digitally in December and to physical outlets last week. To date the EP has sold 85,000 copies.

Lamb of God’s new album, ‘Resolution‘, made it’s debut at No. 3 on this weeks Billboard Top 200 Chart with 52,000 copies sold. Their 2009 release, ‘Wrath‘, sold 68,000 copies it’s first week debuting at No. 2.

Lacuna Coil’sDark Adrenaline‘ has debuted at No. 15 with 20,000 copies sold.

Halestorm’sHello, It’s Mz. Hyde‘ EP debuted at No. 145 selling 3,000 copies.
