Metallica will headline their own two-day festival this summer. “Orion Music+More” will take place on June 23rd and 24th in Atlantic City, NJ and features Modest Mouse, Cage the Elephant, Arctic Monkeys, Avenged Sevenfold and The Sword.
Metallica will headline both nights and will be performing their Black album in its entirety one night and ‘Ride the Lightning‘ the other.

Overall sales were down 49% from last week and down 1% compared to the same week in 2010. 2011 ended with a total of 330.57 million albums sold, up 1% from 2010.
Digital track sales were up 21% from last week and up 10% from the same week in 2010. For the year, digital track sales were up 8.5% at 1.27 billion.
Metallica’s new EP, ‘Beyond Magnetic‘, sold 36,000 copies in its opening week debuting at No. 32 on this weeks Billboard Top 200 Chart.
Sixx:A.M.’s ‘7‘ EP scanned 2,700 copies, but did not make the Top 200.
